Requiem for a Prime

"It seems no room for compassion. or Mercy either." Optimus said. "But that is the decepticon way. we are not like them." Optimus said holding out a hand to Stormshadow. lowering his weapon a bit but keeping it ready. "You are not like them."

"What do you speak of Autobot?! I am a creation of Shockwave! Of course I am like them!"

"The creation of Shockwave. or merely a tool for Megatron." Optimus asked.

Stormshadow backed off a little, "What do you mean? I join you? Never!" the dark dragon of chaos hissed, a little blood seeping between her teeth.

"You do not have to if you wish not. we Autobots will not deny you your freedom." Optimus said, before he could make any further comment he was shot down in the back.

A familiar raspy laugh came out. down came the leader of the decepticons. his fusion cannon still smoking. Megatron. "Well done Stormshadow. thanks to you we can melt down this slagging autobot once and for all. all it took was some unfair play,"

Stormshadow lowered her head, as if she was thinking she made the wrong decision. "Yes master Megatron."

"KamehamehHAAAAA" Holybird attacked Megatron with Mana cannon, a powerful attack that could easily rip apart a battlefield. The sad downturn, using it too much could cause death.

Megatron took the blast fully and was flown into a wall. despite the major damage he was still functioning. and moving. "Looks like it failed,"

Surpsingly, Holybird didn't attack again, rather she just stood her ground protecting Optimus Prime. "Sir, run, I can handle them."

"No. the fight is between Megatron and I," Optimus said. "Ah Prime. always throwing away your life so recklessly." Megatron remarked.

Holybird stood strong between the two. "Prime, sometimes retreating is the better idea when the one retreating is needed. I'm expendable. Go now..."

"That is the what the Decepticons think. in the autobots. no one is expendable. I would die for everyone just to save them," Optimus said. Megatron laughed. "That's good prime. Stormshadow. soften him up some more,"

Stormshadow glanced at Optimus, then to Megatron glaring at her. "Master, I have no beef with Prime." She paused, "But I will erase that feathered vermin if need be."

Holybird snorted then cursed in Draconic.

"Never mind Holybird. she is useless. take care of Prime," Megatron told Stormshadow.

Stormshadow held back "I..."

"You what? Disobeying orders?" Megatron asked.

Stormshadow was stricken with confusion. She knew if she disobeyed Megatron would punish, if not kill her. She had an apologetic expression as she brought her mace like tail down on Holybirds neck, stunning her, then battering Optimus Prime.

Optimus took quite the punishment. but he wouldn't stay down for long. "Megatron. forcing your minions to do your dirty work. I thought you were braver then that." Optimus said. "It's merely to soften you up. I can punish her if she accidentally kills you. But it looks like your not getting out of this!" Megatron said. Optimus simply answered "Wrong" and then the prime drove a energon Axe into the belly of Stormshadow.

Stormshadow cried out spurting blood from her mouth. She flailed her wings around and crashed.

Holybird backed down, then remembered what side she was on. Still, the thought of anybody knowing a dragons weakest spot was enough to put her down.

Optimus then turned to Megatron. "Well Prime. looks like even one of my ultimate weapons didn't last." Megatron remarked. "And how long will you last?" Optimus asked.

Holybird gasped and launched at Megatron. She hit him hard enough to send him flying. White energy rolled off of her in an eternal blaze, "LEAVE NOW OR FOREVER SUFFER THE WRATH OF BATTLEGROUNDS GUARDIANS!!" Holybird hissed the words, spines grew from her back as she began to charge up another attack.

"As you wish!" Megatron said before firing one last fusion cannon blast and then flying out of Iacon.

Holybird took the shot right to her chest, the shot hit her hard enough to even damage her mana core. She risked it all and fired a mana cannon at Megatron, hitting his fusion cannon.

Stormshadow summoned enough strength to fly away with Megatron. She held her torn guts inside her as she flew.

Holybird had taken too much damage and fell to the ground.

Optimus rushed over to Holybird. "Will you be alright?" he asked.
