Meredith

Meredith sighed, it was awkward to move again. She tried to pinch her nose bridge but only succeded in slapping herself several times. Talking was even more difficult, only garbled baby talk came out at best. She continued to glare till her icy gazed warmed up a little, Meredith knew he meant best, though she just wished humans could handle that much gravity pushed on them without all the training. She knew now why only MEN flew these jets, and why they went through years of training.

((SKYPE ME BETCH lol))

((( NO WAY WHORE, HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO. XD;;; )))

Jetfire sighed, feeling slightly horrible about the way he'd just spoken (and acted) towards Meredith, but his Decepticon side kicked in and he ignored her for most of the trip before he suddenly transformed, touching down on a stretch of black sand. It was curved, and went off in both directions, as well as go out straight before them. It was thick, able to fit three of four semi-truck cabs from fender-to-bumper to each other, and was a sickly coloring against the beautifully clean white sands of Egypt.

Before Meredith could ask, he said, "This is where my usefulness becomes not, hybrid. From here, neither of us can do much." He paused, almost in an angry fashion, before saying, "Else The Fallen will sense us coming."

The ancient feelings of rage were clear in his voice. It didn't take much to tell Meredith that now wasn't the time to talk-- least at the moment.

((Well I gotta go now slut! Thanks D<))

Meredith paused, being a gemini meant she loved to talk, it was hard to silence her. She clenched her teeth till it hurt in an attempt to stay silent. She wondered what was going on though, she could see, hear, nor do anything. It was like being locked in a locker at school, or in your room because the babysitter doesn't want to deal with you and she took away all your toys.

Jetfire couldn't say he liked silencing the incessantly-speaking hybrid, but it was either silence and keep a better cover (if a 70-foot, gleaming-black robot walking through a desert didn't give anything away) or have someone or something catch their attention by the two speaking, and then having The Fallen probably become aware of their presence.

Meredith squirmed a bit inside Jetfires chest storage compartment, then got into a meditative position to keep herself calmmed. Literally an air of calm formed around her, Jetfire could feel it.

To keep the human occupied, despite the gut feeling that he had growing within the pit of his spark, he opened up a holographic music player that held all of the music he could think of-- Archaic Cybertronian melodies, new-age human songs, and everything in between.

He just kept it up, hoping she'd see it and not ask questions.

Meredith

Meredith opened one eye to view it, she tried her best to send a telepathic thought to Jetfire, "It would make noise, my friend. Lets just get there..." She closed her eye again and relaxed. Not like she could see nor hear anything going on around them.

As you wish, he replied back over the telepathic tendril she'd stretched out to him, a bit disappointed but knowing she was right.

(Aaaaaaaand~ let's skip ahead a few hours)

It was well into the afternoon by this time, nearing dusk; they'd been traveling only a few hours, but Khronos had been gone at least two days. This wasn't a good sign, not a good sign at all.

Meredith had been allowed to get out and walk a bit, until either the heat got to her or time slipped by and they had to move twice as fast to recover lost time.

Thankfully Meredith had a bag of veggie chips in her sleeve. Thanks to Khronos, her sleeves were outfitted with a version of Subspace tech that she could use. Meredith always kept at least two weeks worth of supplies on her at any time.

The little hybrid, her silver eyes dulled from worry for her Guardian, blew through her nose in a half-hearted sigh. The thoughts in her head were random and unorganized at best. Her mind clouded with worry for all of man-kind, and the possiblity of other life out there on the final frontieer. She thought about all the "final frontieers" history had. America, the western half of America, space....all the "final" frontieer.

Meredith shook her head, realizing her mind was distracted again. The tips of her ears, again, sensed a change in air pressure, followed by the sounds of a battle not too far off.

((...y'know what? I forgot that I was still on Khro's thingy and replied with her...lmao))

Jetfire growled with an irritated sigh, his engines whining as he began to itch with battle, this particular set of feelings coming from Khronos now that the two travelers were so close.

"This is where it gets dangerous," he whispered over a COM system wired throughout his body (thanks to his alt mode), the agitation clear in his voice.

Meredith shifted her position. It was easy to tell she was getting herself ready for anything, a slight bit of unease in her movements, stiffened from her edge of anxiety. She nodded, slightly hurring an "okay", a dragons way of speaking. To most, the draconic language was just a bunch of hurring sounds, to the trained ear, however, it was a unique language. This hurr, however, was so silent it sounded more like breathing.

Jetfire absently acknowledged Meredith's hum before upping his pace, his movements similar to the familiar crouch-run that many human military soldiers performed while in hostile areas. He was using whatever he could the moment he got within range of the still in repair village just a few miles away from where The Fallen's defeat had taken place.

And now, he feared, where Khronos would meet her downfall as well.

(wooooooooo~ >_>)

Khronos

Khronos

Khronos and The Fallen had been at it all day; many wounds laced each other's bodies, Energon from both parties covering themselves as well as the surrounding areas, showing clearly their battle.

As the night approached quickly, the expelled Energon on their bodies began to glow.

Both were tired, and were now stuck at a stand-still; heaving as if they'd just finished running a very long marathon (a bad habit that both had picked up from their time on Earth), the two Cybertronians glared at each other with weapons still drawn.

"You will not be triumphant, Fallen," Khronos sneered, her optics narrowing on him as the Sun gleamed from behind his taller form.

The Fallen

The Fallen

The Fallen sneered and said, "I did not come here for a second defeat, Khronos." He stood up suddenly, his facial antenna still.

Khronos seemed to be lost, until her own facial expression slacked and she hissed out a curse.

Smiling, his shark-like teeth gleaming in the receding light, he muttered, "Well, it seems that you have called in reinforcements." His optics grew darker as he growled, "You know what this means now, Khronos."

Warping to greet their guests, his voice still in her audio receptors, he added in a hiss, "You have failed; the Earth shall be destroyed."

Khronos

Khronos

Another curse being uttered, Khronos transformed and took off in the (general) direction that she and The Fallen had both sensed Jetfire's presence to be. Since the battle had taken a lot out of her, she could hardly fly straight let alone warp.

So, now she had to do things the old fashioned way...improvise.

Jetfire didn't like what was happening now; Khronos was now feeling utterly terrified.

Tensing as he came to a stop, he made a hissing noise at Meredith as he himself became still.

Meredith stumbled around. She had barely a clue as to what was going on, she only knew that Jetfire DID NOT like it what-so-ever. She felt her heart pulse, her Mana Core charged up to very high levels, she now knew this was her issue. She ran to the side of Jetfires chassis storage, she banged lightly on the sides "What is going on? I need to stop this before my home is in danger!!"

Jetfire hissed her to be quiet, but it was too late; something covered them with a shadow, an unnatural shadow, and on instinct Jetfire jumped out of the way of the shadow just as a cannon blast blew up the wall where the Archaic Seeker had been hiding behind.

Holding onto his chassis, in fear of Meredith breaking out into a panic, he got back up and began to battle this monster.

It was three times his size, and looked like a demented, robotic version of Cerberus, the 3-headed Greek mythology creature. This being right here was what had given the Greeks the vision for the Cerberus, and The Fallen...well, it wasn't hard to imagine whose creation he'd influenced.

44The Great Seeker - Page 2 Empty Re: The Great Seeker Tue Dec 21, 2010 7:38 am

The Fallen

The Fallen

The beast looked at Jetfire with its three different set of optics, all blinking in a disturbing unison.

Suddenly, just as Jetfire made a move to shoot at it, the beast's third head shot off a warning shot. He then just sat still, staring up at the monstrous beast as it chuckled in a demented way. Putting his hands over his chassis as it opened its three maws again, the Seeker wondered absently if this was the end.

Its tail flickering behind it, the beast did indeed open its mouth-- but instead of firing off another, more deadly shot than the last one, its heads suddenly erupted into a shower of Energon and wiring, leaving behind only the skeletal parts underneath all of the armor.

Jetfire would have lost his lunch, had his stomach not been previously hardened by worse things than this.

The beast laid limp on the side of the building, its claws still gripping the edge in a predatory-like stance. As it just sat there, Jetfire made a second move, this time to run. The monster didn't move, not until Jetfire was a few yards out.

Turning and twisting, what was left of their broken and bloodied-up skulls began to morph into a single, horrifyingly destroyed face. The six separate blood-red optics lined up next to one another, creating a line that went all across its face, illuminating its demented facial features.

Jetfire didn't turn back around as he heard the beast get back up, but it didn't follow; it was as if it was waiting for something.

Which, it was; being relayed information from The Fallen, who hovered high above the scrambling Seeker and his waiting predator, the beast gripped the building's remains within its claws, anticipation nearly getting the better of it as it observed Jetfire's form getting smaller and smaller.

"You have done well, my pet," The Fallen crooned, his evil chuckling having the same chilling effect even over a COM link. "Now, you can go and play."

Excitement gripping its cannibalistic mind, the creature leaped from the building, running after the Seeker as he transformed and flew off.

Just as The Fallen turned around, having half a mind to return to Khronos and defeat her now, he was surprised when he saw her standing there, glaring at him.

Khronos

Khronos

Khronos couldn't believe it. Scratch that, she could believe it: The Fallen had cheated. And now he had the audacity to say that she had cheated?

Slowly bringing her gun up to aim at his chest, she snarled, "This battle was a joke."

And then she fired.

He rocketed back a few feet, hardly being scathed by the low-powered shot, but it had been enough to get the battle started back up.

Agreement or not, she knew that The Fallen was Hell-bent on destroying everything, no matter the cost.

Jetfire felt the anger radiate from Khronos as she found that The Fallen had cheated.

Just as this happened, he knew Meredith felt it as well, but before he could ask her what had happened she was yelling at him to let her out. He did so without question, grabbing her and placing her in his hand as he continued to run from the monstrous beast that stalked them.

Jetfire felt something, rather large, shift in his hand. It was getting bigger. Upon realizing what it was, it was too late, the pure, monsterous form of Holybird-- no...she was no longer Holybird. The anger and hatered, combined from The Fallen, Khronos, Jetfire and the creature formed together to create this beast.

Its feathers were as sharp as blades, each standing on its own. The tail was a long, spiked mace. The feathers on the end, hooked. Her wings had become four, pointed wings, with claws on the main joints, the bigger feathers on the end like white blades that could slice the hair of a fly, and not harm it. Spines rose out of her back, as if her spine grew out from the skin, each spine dripping with toxic venom. Her talons had become long, hooked, ready to sink into the skin of her next victim. The head? Six eyes, black as night, gleaming like new metal in the setting sun. A crown of horns sprouted from where her feathers used to be, each armed with small barbs. Her fangs, now long, hooked and gleaming, hungry for the lifeblood of any being that dared to be too close to her. She had become, what the Guardians of Mana prayed to hide in their most innocent of youth.

This, creature, pointed its talon at the three headed dog, it whispered in a layered, echoing, demonic tone "You..you...Are first to go! go...

Khronos

Khronos

As Khronos up above fought once again with the same ferocity as before, she felt the dangerous emotions coming from Meredith/Holybird.

Completely shocked, she stopped and just hovered in the air, staring at the beast that stood in between Jetfire and the Cerberus beast.

"Meredith?" she asked blankly, not noticing that The Fallen was right behind her until he came up and grabbed her wings, crushing her right one to the point she began to free fall.

Righting herself in the air, barely able to transform her crushed wings into a jet pack-like device on her back, she looked back up at The Fallen and continued her battle, though Meredith's new form never left her mind.

Not a sound was made as time slowed to almost a stand still. Khronos watched as a white line ran up The Fallens right side, slicing his right arm clean off, not a single deformity was in the cut.

Upon glancing at where the Cerberus stood, ...proof of its existance was no longer found. Its death was silent, weather this new creature, formerly the sweet loveable Meredith, shy as she may be, ate it or just annihlated it all together was unknown. It was gone, thats all that mattered. And now its attention was turned to The Fallen. "It" was ready for the kill. Its four wings pumping effortlessly, speeding like a train, slamming into The Fallen in an all out tackle.

It brought The Fallen into a spiral downwards. A purely draconic suicide tactic. Either both parties let go or both went down. It and The Fallen slammed into the sand below, it may be what saved them as a sky-scraping plume of sand erupted like smoke billowing out of a volcano. The soft, white sand, now tainted with the warped power of Mana and The Fallen, must of been what protected the two from critical damage. It was on top of The Fallen, she only got off for a millisecond to pounce on him again, talons tearing at his armor, not giving him a single inch to counter attack. She was making this also a silent kill, as the horrorid visage became more and more violent, energon spilling everywhere.

Finally, it had gained access to The Fallens Spark chamber. It opened its great maw, venom spilling from its fangs, licking the venom off with its now forked tounge, it hungered for the taste of his spark.

Khronos

Khronos

Khronos hated The Fallen, but if Holybird-- or whoever this creature now was--ate his spark, her power would become tainted with his bastardizing life force, forever corrupting her and all that she stood for.

So, in an act of stupidity, Khronos barked, firing a warning shot at Holybird, "Stop this!" The beast turned to glare at the Archaic Decepticon, her pitch black eyes narrowed in hatred.
