Khronos - Child of the Great Seeker

"To serve the decepticon cause and all those who lead." Soundwave answered. he knew what Khronos was thinking. "As for what I have that you don't. newer cybertronian technology,"

Over her internal COM system, Khronos hissed at Meredith, "Not now. I'll explain later."

Over the COM to Soundwave, she laughed and barked, "Ha! You think the newest technology will defend you from Archaic? We Archaics had the universe figured out, until your ancestors, the Ancients, destroyed it all with War! And after it had almost been completely restored, your generations come in and destroy what is left!"

It would've been an insult to say Khronos was pissed. She was furious. At Soundwave? No. In general? Yes.

"Were the ancients so innocent. no one is ever innocent." Soundwave pointed out.

"The Archaics weren't, you are right," she said. "But we had such a better grip on the universe-- the weapons of today? We used to give sparklings that to spar with."

"And yet. they still damage you. the weapons of today. this model is now outdated," Soundwave told her. "And yet. still in use."

Meredith growled lightly, she had a thing where she could growl/click like a dragon even in her human form.

Khronos looked at Soundwave, knowing that he was serious when he said his weapons were outdated. They had been made as a gift on his graduation from the Academy. That had been-- well over 20 orns ago. Old in the sense of age, but also young in that very same sense.

Sighing, Khronos looked at Soundwave and replied back over the COM, "I see what you mean by having out-dated weapons, but..." Her gaze grew steely as she stared at him. "Do not mistaken that my age has anything to do with my armor's thickness. It will take two Superions to take me down. Even then it will be hard to defeat me."

"You are bluffing," Soundwave said. "I have seen you get hit. you have as much armor as anyone else," he said.

((That's just to make sure Khronos doesn't seem a bit sue-ish. invincible characters are not appreciated.))

It was true she was bluffing-- in another way she wasn't. It would take two Superions to take her down, will-wise that is; but physically? If enough fire power was presented then she would be down, definitely.

Glaring at him, just to keep up her bluff, Khronos challenged, "Want to bet on it, Soundwave? I haven't much to lose. A bit of my time, sure. But I think that you'd be missing your limbs by tomorrow morning." Her optics narrowing further, she added in a warning tone, "I am in no mood to fight tonight, Soundwave. Leave me be without a fuss and this can be avoided."

((She was over exaggerating-- definitely over-exaggerating. She's a bit peeved so she's just coming up with BS answers to try and bluff her way out of a fight. Khro isn't in any mood to really fight anyone.))
