Khronos - Child of the Great Seeker

Meredith felt the grief raidate through Khronos and into herself. She sighed knowing she wasn't happy very often.

Walking out from a tiny building, it obvious that the two were in an underground part of a base just from the way some of the buildings seemed to be upside down rather than just hovering over the ruined city, Khronos made her way to one of hundreds of large red tubular-like things that went from down in the ground to high up to the ceiling. There were ports everywhere, and it made Meredith connect these tubes to being high-tech elevators big enough to carry any sized Transformer (as far as she knew).

Khronos didn't step through one, but it was apparent as they passed that these red tubular things were actually lights! Not made of metal or glass or anything, but actual light!

Before she could ask the Decepticon femme walked by them until she stood in the "shadow" of the largest building here.

Meredith stared up at it in awe, the top of the cockpit blocked her full view, but from what she saw the building was immense.

"The main part of Devcon Central," Khronos said over the COM, pride clear in her voice. Sighing, a slight bitter chuckle in her tone, Khronos added in a mutter, "Or, what's left of it."

At first Meredith was extice about the building, but the sound of Khronos sadness brought her down again.

Khronos tried to sound happy again as she explained what the building had been used for, and was still being used as.

Meredith wowed at it. Decepticons started to wonder why the old femme was talking to herself.

(On COM systems it's like a text message, not a phone call, despite their voices being used...lol.)

Giving Meredith a quick run-down of what the building was (minus all of the evil that had also taken place in the building as to not freak her out anymore than what the child would be once they got inside), it was all a matter of trying to explain several millions of years' worth of information about a city into a five-minute explanation.

"As of right now, it's just used as the main center of Devcon Central. Kind of like a COM Center, Command Center, and Special Operations Office of this entire city. It's size isn't as large as the other cities, but if I compared it to human standards of cities it would be about the size and as busy as Washington, DC."

Khronos heard Meredith whistle, but ignored it as she continued.

"It's also our main science center. Or, at least the research is all sent to here. The rest of the science center is up top, where Shockwave used to spend most of his time..." And, adding in thought: It was even the insane asylum where the Decepticons would torture and kill many thousands before everyone fled Cybertron.

Continuing on as she walked into the building, which sat on the ground but went right up to the ceiling and beyond that, Khronos said, "The rest of the city is just as you see-- just a city. The buildings all serve different purposes, but for the time being I won't go into details about them."

The Decepticon femme passed dozens of mecha, most of them mechs while only a handful were femmes, and none of them were as tall as she was.

As she walked through, Khronos tried to quickly make her way through to the Central Command Center of the building, almost at the top of the building and near the surface of the war-torn Cybertron. Thankfully nothing bad happened, and in mere minutes she was where she needed to be.

Coming up to a mech Meredith had never seen before, Khronos saluted the slightly smaller mech and said, "Hello Soundwave."

He gave a quick salute back and they began to converse about what needed to be done, and in what time frame.

At the end Khronos was feeling very exhausted. No wonder Megatron had wanted her here; a lot of it needed to be done with knowledge the generations of today didn't possess anymore.

Meredith surpisingly didn't freak about anything. It seemed the constant exposure to giant robots that could easily squish her has made her immune to such fears. As a matter of fact, the young human got tired and fell asleep. It was a calming sight.

Khronos was thankful that Meredith had fallen asleep; the fact that this had happened, and that no detours had been needed through any of the rooms (or for the fact that no noises short of screams had come from anywhere) made her thank Primus for the stroke of sudden luck.

It all came to an end when Soundwave told her where she would be.

"Since I have Blitzwing here, Shockwave has Kao, and I am taking control of Vos, I am asking you to watch over Iacon."

Iacon. Why Iacon?

"Because," he told her once she'd voiced this question, "that is the only place no one has yet been able to cleanse."

Cleanse-- meaning exterminate all opposition. She didn't mind it-- it's just that wouldn't be a swell place to take Meredith.

Without another word she saluted and left, heading right back out to catch an elevator up to the surface.

It was gonna be a long trip.

Meredith kept squirming around, making small wimpering noises.

In the darkness stood someone. the greatest decepticon spy had found them.

((It's true because no one even notices him just lounging around.))

Khronos stopped as she reached the surface, looking around as she sensed someone waiting.

Shrugging off the paranoia, but keeping it at the forefront of her mind, she transformed and took off.

Soundwave followed. masking his jets with white noise as he flew after them.

Meredith snorted from her nightmare and woke. She glanced around rapidly, she then remembered where they were and settled down. She heard something strange though. White noise? Here? "Khro...something isn't right..."

((White noise as in unnoticeable.))

Soundwave quickly preformed a maneuver and disappeared from the line of sight.

((Trust me dude, I can hear the weirdest things, but yet normal conversations I'm nearly deaf. Choir trained me to hear noises like white noise and soundwaves below and above normal human hearing...but I can't tell what they are))

((Okay.))

Khronos stopped and immediately transformed her arms into cannons.

Scanning the area, she found who it was immediately; his spark was too familiar for her to overlook.

"Soundwave?" she said on a COM. "What're you up to?"

Meredith shifted backwards in her seat. She was asleep when she first came in contact with Soundwave on Cybertron.

"Mission Objective: Classified. Peaceful Surrender: Requested. Possible Damage: None." Came the monotone voice of the con.

Khronos glared at him. "What is your purpose, Soundwave?" He may have been her superior officer, and Megatron's 3rd-in-Command, but she held much over him. If just counting years, she was hundreds of generations ahead of him. What did he have other than rank?

Just in case, she readied her thrusters to power up at any moment.

Meredith stayed quiet, but had only one question at the sound of her thrusters being ready "Khro....what is going on?"
