Meredith (Mer)

Khronos looked at Shockwave with narrowed optics.

"She is my human pet," she growled. "I demand a reason why she was treated the way she was!"

"Pure Science Khronos." Shockwave answered.

"Such as?" Khronos replied heatedly, trying to keep her wits about her that he was still a superior officer.

"The chemical reactions that are required for her to transform is an example," Shockwave said. his logical emotion free demeanor was going to be tough to beat.

Khronos looked at him. She wasn't surprised at his answer-- even she was curious how it worked for Meredith to change into Holybird-- but with a sigh she gave in.

"What will you do?" she asked, holding Meredith in her hands protectively.

Meredith wimpered a little, not wanted to be tested on. How it worked wasn't too complicated once it was explained. But it was something a con of science wouldn't take into account...magic.

"a few blood tests and such. few cons actually believe that it is magic. the other scientists and I believe it to be something more. a result of evolution in a sense," Shockwave said.

Khronos gave Meredith a look, and finally came up with a conclusion.

"Alright. As long as I am there, and nothing beyond what I say can be done."

Meredith sighed, she hated being tested on, but it was that or a graver option. She curled up in Khronos' hands, still not liking the decision.

She knew that Meredith would hate her for this, but what would Khronos do, go up against Shockwave (and then most likely Megatron and then the rest of the Decepticon Army) over a little human? Meredith may have been her charge and dare she say friend, but she wouldn't risk her life or rank for her. Not now, anyway, when the war was getting to such a critical point.

Khronos followed Shockwave silently, petting Meredith's head with the tip of her right index finger, her left hand holding the female close.

Meredith stared up at her guardian with an "I understand" look.

Now in Shockwave's own laboratory, Khronos and Meredith waited for the smaller mech to do something.

Shockwave brought down a large aparatus with many robotic arms. all of them looked like they would do something fatal to Meredith.

Khronos asked, "What do those do?"
