Santa's letter (DEL-bot believes in good ol'Saint Nick and decieds to go to the north pole to give him her letter personally)

Del watched as snow fell outside, it was a week till the human holiday named 'Christmas' she wanted to send Santa her letter buuut refused to let Simon near it.
"Del I can send it to the north pole for you." Simon sighed as Del curled around it possesivly.
"NUUUU! I wanna GIVE it to Santa." Del whined keeping it away from Simon.
"Del he'll get it, trust me." Simon said smiling
"Yeah but... I wanna see him open it and read it... people say he ain't real." Del mumbled folding her arms
"Well... it's not about what others think, it's about what YOU think kiddo... but I don't think he'll have time to read it if you don't send it."
An idea sparked in Del's strange little processor and she lept to her feet.
"I KNOW!" Del squealed in delight, Simon blinked confused. "I'll go to the north pole and give Santa my letter in person!"
Simon fell off his chair in shock... he difently didn't see that one coming.
"Del you can't go all the way to the north pole!" Simon said in shock.
"Why not? people in america can go to the other side of the planet easily enough." Del said pouting
"Del I don't have the money to get you there." Simon sighed.
"Then I'll find another way, but I'm getting this letter to Santa!" Del peristed getting on her coat.
"NOT in this weather kiddo, you'll have to wait." Simon said sternly taking the coat off her.
"B-But I'll never get there in time if I don't go now!" Del whined
"I'd perfer you NOT to freeze your cicuits than get your letter to Santa sweetheart." Simon sighed hugging her, Del pouted but knew Simon ment well... maybe she'd need someone's help to get there and back without Simon noticing.

Del ran into her old friend Meredith on the sidewalk. She was out caroling since she could sing well. The old she-dragon disguised as a human smiled at the sight "Hey Delly! Merry Christmas!"

Del's opyics lit up and she hugged her old friend, friend of the autobots or not Meredith had helped keep Simon safe when she couldn't
"MEREDITH! It's great to see you again, I wanted to take a letter to Santa but Simon say's it's too dangerous for me." Del said pouting at Simon, he laughed warmly
"Aww Del, if I had the money and if it was safe I'd let you go kiddo, but I want to keep you close sicne that little incident involving Professor Sumdacs police bot prototype." imon said with a smirk
"HE WAS EYEING ME UP... and my cannon set off on its own..." Del mumbled.

Meredith grinned then laughed. "Del WOW! Seriously? HAHA! You blew it up?" She had her time, then spoke in Dels audio "just to let you know, I am old enough to know St. Nick"

Del blinked at Meredith.
"Really, you know Santa." She whispered like a child would when enchanted by something.

A red tractor trailer pulled up towards the few. it stopped at Meredith and the horn went off. a guy in his 60s was sitting behind the wheel.

Meredith gained an annoyed face "Prime, that gets on my nerves..."

Del blinked at the tractor trailor then hid behind Simon, she was more intimadated towards Optimus and Megatron than any other bots... mainly because they had command over the factions that seemed to argue alot and whom Simon was trying not to get on the bad sides of.

the truck transformed and there stood Optimus. "Greetings DEL-bot. how are you tonight?" he asked getting down on one of his knees to greet her.

"Fine thanks..." Del mumbled into Simon's back, Simon chuckled patting her helm.
"Sorry Prime, she gets a bit shy around the bosses of the factions." Simon explained.
Del's blue optic peeked out at Prime cautiously, her relationship with Simon was that of a father and daughter.

"I do not wish to interrupt anything. but this time of the year. I do not fully understand it. Humans give each other gifts. others are foul. some don't even celebrate it. tell me. I know the month is December. but what is this time of year?" Optimus asked.

"Its Christmas dude, it is an old tradition started way back in the day. Most have lost focus of what it really means...it is a special feeling you get inside that causes us to care for one another and want to gift them in the celebration of a new era." Meredith smiled under her scarf.

Optimus nodded. "So. it is a time for being happy to be together with one's genetic relations. I mean family?" he asked. Prime was quite the understanding bot.

"Well pretty much, though really Del's the only family I have left, but you could always include your family." Simon laughed as Del finally stepped out from behind him and just clung onto his arm instead.

Prime laughed a bit himself. he turned to DEL. "I see your still not fully trusting of me. just be happy it isn't Cliffjumper, Gears, or Ironhide here," he said. "Do any of you need a lift?" he asked.

"Hah, funny joke Prime. Making fun of the fact that most dragons cannot fly in cold weather? Or are we poking fun at the fact that the cold could possibly kill me at any moment?"

Del was about to open her mouth and Simon gave her a look and she closed it pouting.
"Del wanted to try to get to the north pole to find St Nick and give her a letter, but I've told her she'll freeze her circuits up there and it was too dangerous." Simon explained

Meredith chuckled. "I still have some cash, I could take her there."

"Mmer I don't want you to waist money like that... and besides I don't really trust man made flying machines, if people were ment to fly they'd be given wings." Simon sighed

"I meant for food silly." She smiled, that glint in her eyes, the one she gets while flying high above the clouds. "I can carry more than one passenger."

Del wasn't fond of hieghts but she'd flown with her more than once and was usually fine with her eye's shut, Simon blinked wavering

"So we gotta deal? What do you think Prime?"
