Hunt in the Dark (DEL-bot has gone missing and Simon can't find her)

Simon paced unhappily in his living room; Del was missing, she'd never pull a stunt like this before... it worrid him, then aagin she hasn't been right nowerdays she seemed almost... jumpy... in her own processor... or whatever Del's kind call it.
Simon sighed rubbing hsi tired face looking outside, it was a blizzard and it was dark... he knew this wasn't normal... Del didn't like being cold and she CERTAINLY didn't like the dark.
"No snese sitting around here.. what kind of a guardian would I be if I didn't go out looking." Simon mumbled, he looked at the phone on his table... maybe he should call the auto- NO!! They'd want to know why he hadn't been visitng latley he didn't want them to know about him hearing Del in the night.
"I'll find her myself." He sighed, he shoved on his coat and wrapped his scarf around his neck, donning his walking boots and hat he opened the door and stepped out into the calf deep snow feeling his jeans get soaked already, he frowned and locked the door behind him setting off into the dark with a torch.

Simon ran into a familiar teen wearing a blue coat. She looked up, seeing she had silvery-blue eyes, she spoke "Hey Simon, why you going out in such a hurry?"

Simon sighed in relife, Meredith was proborbly one of the ONLY non human beings he trusted other than Del herself
"Del's missing, she hasn't been home since 3pm... I'm worrid... she doesn't like the dark... the cold... or being alone... this has bad news written all over it." Simon sighed looking worridly about hoping to catch a glimpse or even a clue.

Meredith sighed into her scarf, "Delly is MIA again? Don't worry Simon, just get inside. You know how to contact me if you get too worried. I'll find short and shiny."

Simon blinked then shook his head.
"It's different this time! I've just got that feeling... worse than the other times she's wandered off... she's been acting funny for the past few weeks to, I can't just sit at home I'll go stark raving mad!" Simon explained rubbing his hands together his breath creating clouds of fog.
"It would have helped if the blizzard hadn't swept her footprints away.."

Meredith stared out into the dark, "then I guess you want to come with me?"

"That would be much apreciated Meredith..." Simon sighed smiling, thankful he wouldn't be on this journey alone.
He continued down the dark streets, there was little to no noise apart from the howling wind and the occasional dog bark in the distance.

Meredith walked calmly next to him. "Any idea where she might be?"

"She only goes to places she knows normally... like the huge oak tree at the park... maybe Sumdac tower... or Danny's house." Simon said thoughtfully. "Maybe we should go to Danny's and see if she's there, then we can check the other places."

Meredith smiled she tugged on Simon "I don't know how well this will work but get on!" Simon knew what she was going to do then.

Farther off with DEL. images began to run through her head. they seemed like ghosts. for one thing. there seemed to be a younger Shockwave right beside her. he seemed so much... in a way... happier. "What's up DEL?" the figment asked her in a voice that clearly displayed some sort of emotion.

Del let out a starled eep then shushed him harshly
"Shhh you'll let him find me!" Del hissed in the dark, hearing a humming noise she froze crushing herself agaisnt the wall in terror.

Simon groaned but got on, he hated it when she did this to him, it made him feel sick

The Shockwave was about her height. "No wondering on who I am? or why am I here. Well to answer one of them. I'm a figment of your imagination based on your files of Shockwave. you see him as the one responsible for your existence in the world. but I decided to spice him up. No one but you can see or hear me," the figment said. "Until you finally snap out of it. just call me Shock," he said.

Holybird took off, it was easy to tell she was still getting used to flying in inclimate weather. She soared above the city, she had Simon between her headfeathers to shelter him from the cold wind, though the weather did a number on her. "Guide me there!"

Del blinked
"So... I'm affectivly hallucinating... and givign away my position... great." Del muttered, the humming stopped and Del froze feeling soemthing behind her.
"Evening Darlin."

Simon stiffened hearing a shriek
"Mer! That was Del!" Simon shouted

Holybird reacted, banking hard then falcon diving right into the alleyway. Roaring to ward off any danger.

"Who is it?" Shock asked. "I'll go get the real Shockwave. believe it or not. he cares a lot about his creations."

Simon lept off Holybird back going into the alleyway odily enough no one was there until he reconised a familler form agaisnt the wall slumped.
"Del!" Simon gasped going to her and shaking her , her helm flopped, jaw slack, almost like a tin rag doll.
Simon pried open her spark chamber and was relived to find her spark intact he closed it up and picked her up not sure why she didn't wake up.
"I think we need to get her back home and try and wake her up." Simon sighed looking at Del's closed optics

Holybird gave a worried rumble in her throat. She bent down to Simons height trying to see if Del was alright, and keep herself warm at the same time. She leaned down to allow Simon back on. "we better hurry, Simon"

"I believe that can be arranged. but I am the only one who knows how to repair her properly," A voice called out. there in the dark stood a tall figure who was nothing more than a shadow in the moonlight, a bright yellow eye glowing in the middle of his face.

Simon looked up at the yellow eye and took a step back his eye's wide he shone a tourch and then sighed a little, though he had only met Shockwave once before he still didn't like the bot.
"Please try NOT to scare me like that Shockwave, and she doesn't look broke, her spark is fine she's just... not waking up." Simon murmered

Holybird curled her tail around Simon protectively. She knew Del was a 'Con, but she did not know if he would attack Dels bonded, Holybird.

"But there may be a technical problem behind it. DEL is my creation. I want to make sure she is able to use her power to it's fullest," he said getting down on one knee to look at her and Simon.

Simon shrank a little under his gaze but kept a good grip on Del's limp frame, he noticed the tail and gained some form of comfort from it.

"I have no reason to harm DEL or the very being that keeps her stable," Shockwave said.
