The song played on the radio. Hackblast was lying against a wall, biogel leaking out of all his wounds, his body barely able to regenerate from home much power he lost. he looked up, his vision slightly broken from one side of his visor being broken. his hand on his ion rifle. he recalled how this had all started.

Hackblast stood in the rain on the bridge, listening to his iPod (he found broken bits and repaired it) a thick cloak and hat covered his holoform, better not to be recognized in anyway. Hinder's song "Lips of an Angel" playing. he looked out and saw a freighter coming this way. he looked out and recognized a familiar face. the freighter began to pass under, Hackblast jumped down and landed. he looked up at the smiling face. "Hey Mer. how are you? Del here?" he asked.

Meredith had dawned a scarf wrapped around her head in the cold rain. She nodded a hello, "No she isn't...suprised to see you here." She sighed watching the bridge come closer, "How ya been?"

"Well you did call a meeting for everyone didn't you?" Hackblast asked. "didn't you?"

Meredith gave Hackblast a look, "I...don't think that was me who called...."

Khronos' holoform came up, smiling at the two of them.

"Hey," she whispered.

Hackblast looked at her. "Khronos. you called the meeting?"

Rolling her blood red eyes, she cocked a hip slightly and said, putting her hand on that hip and smiling widely, "Of course I did."

"And why was this, Khronos?"

Khronos shrugged. "Why not?"

"just wanted to see some friends I bet," Hackblast said.

Khronos nodded. Since Hackblast had been transferred over to the Canadian Decepticon base, and Meredith had been with the Autobots after their thing in Thailand (which was pissing her off, that entire situation), she was practically always alone in the Mariana Trench's Decepticon base.

"Yeah," she muttered, looking down. "It's quiet there now."

Meredith was being pretty dang quiet...at least for Meredith. "Yeah...since that happened..."

Khronos looked up slightly at Meredith, her eyes dark, brooding, and understanding.

Meredith turned her head away, her arms folded, a stern trained glare had replaced the happy-go-lucky spirtied smile.

"I know there is tension between all of us. but perhaps. we shouldn't let it get in our way." Hackblast said. it was probably odd hearing the blue biomecha being the voice of reason.

Khronos turned to him, her gaze and facial expression thoughtful.

"Indeed," she muttered, walking closer to him. She loomed over him for a few moments before reaching her arms around him and giving him a hug-- the first time she'd ever done so to him.

Hackblast had no idea how to react.

Meredith just watched out of the corner of her eye. The Autobots were tired of her always causing issues...so they improvised with some training...during which she changed.

Pulling back, her eyes being hidden by her bangs, Khronos muttered quietly, "Sorry."

"It's okay. it's just that... it never happened before. Mer... what's wrong?" he asked. Mer was a close friend, practically a sister. he needed to know what was wrong.

"I shouldn't even be here..."

"Why not Mer?" Hackblast asked.

"The Autobots said any contact with the 'cons is a bad idea," she spat out something into the water, "peace."

"Well who says it may last like that forever?" Hackblast asked (epic foreshadowing to G2) "For all we know in the future there could be peace between the two factions" Hackblast said, he looked down. "Who ever said that you did everything the autobots asked?" he mumbled quietly.

"I started listening when I grew up and realised life ain't no game." She kneeled over watching the fish swim in the river canal, "such innocense..."
